Tickets are on sale for the University of Alaska Fairbanks College of Business and Security Management's 46th Business Leader of the Year dinner and award ceremony. The 2024 event is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Westmark Fairbanks Hotel. Read more and get your tickets.

AI Companion and Whiteboard focus

With Zoom AI Companion features being released for UA Zoom users on Aug. 16, UAF NTS Collaboration and Learning Spaces will host Zoom-focused training on using the AI Companion and Whiteboard features. While there are overviews of these topics in the Basics and Advanced sessions, this training will go into detail on using these two tools in your meetings and classes. Reports are not intended as a substitute for instructors directly reaching out to their students; rather, they are designed to ensure advisors have comprehensive information about their advisees and can more effectively provide resources and options. Discover UAF: Overview for remote employees

A brief overview of UAF for remote employees, will take place, Friday, Aug. 23 from 1-2 p.m. via Zoom. The event will cover UAF's mission, vision and structure, and updated information about university priorities. Sign up to reserve your spot. Attendees will receive a UAF branded T-shirt.
