Use early engagement reports starting Aug. 30 for student concerns, barriers

– EAB leadership team and Progress reports, alerts and cases team

Nanook Navigator's early engagement reports inform student success teams about concerns and barriers start Friday, Aug. 30, and continue through Friday, Sept. 13. Reports are not intended as a substitute for instructors directly reaching out to their students; rather, they are designed to ensure advisors have comprehensive information about their advisees and can more effectively provide resources and options.

We encourage instructors to complete urgent concerns/feedback by Wednesday, Sept. 4 to allow advisors and instructors time to meet with students before the add/drop deadline (Sept. 6). Choose your primary concern or feedback (one alert reason) to reduce the number of emails that students receive.

Instructors, please reach out to your students before completing engagement reports. We encourage you to provide context within the comment section of the engagement report to assist advisors and student success staff in their outreach support.

Your participation in student success initiatives has connected thousands of students to their academic advisors, support, and resources through engagement reports, alerts, and case intervention.

Helpful resources are located here!

Join us on Sept. 10 at 1 p.m. to ask questions and complete your engagement reports during the workshop.
