Sixteen early-career scientists and professionals were selected for the 2024-2025
Alaska Sea Grant State Fellowship. These Fellows will start this summer and fall,
working around the state in support of Alaska's coastal communities and marine resources.

Join Robyn Henry, professor of Rural Human Services, for a short course on mindfulness,
with applications to our work in higher education. In four, 1-hour sessions beginning
Sept. 11, Henry will work with participants to explore the connection between their
thoughts and emotions and how they can use the present moment and their compassion

As part of the phased, enterprise-wide Security Awareness effort launched in 2023,
UA HR Talent Acquisition and Development team is supporting UA Office of Information
Technology's effort to make all faculty and staff aware of the annual, mandatory requirement
for Security Awareness Training. The deadline for this training is Oct. 31, 2024.
