Research interests/biography

Franz J. Meyer works on application of advanced radar remote sensing technologies to geophysical problems. He researches spaceborne radar imaging sensors and data processing techniques for global mapping of volcanism, earthquakes and permafrost change, and natural hazards, mapping permafrost, water vapor in the lower troposphere, and key ionospheric constituents. He also develops resources for hazard monitoring and disaster response.
