LARS Birthday Bash: Saturday June 1st, 2024

Our Annual Birthday Bash is the kick off to our summer and a celebration of the newest additions to our herd! There is food, fun children's activities, and more! This is a free community event.  Staff will be on hand to answer questions and the gift shop will be open.  We will be suspending tours on this day and all are welcome to explore the tour and display areas and see the new calves while asking questions of our staff. 

Parking is limited at LARS--Please take the FREE PARKING SHUTTLE!  

Park on West Ridge and wait for the shuttle to pick you up at the Akasofu Building (click for a photo and a map)!  The shuttle will be leaving the Akasofu building on the half hours and returning from LARS on the hours.  See the schedule below.

LARS Local's Day: Date To Be Announced, September 2024

Our Local's Day is a wonderful community event. Tours are given every hour and the cost of admission is a donation to the Fairbanks Community Food Bank. Last year we raised over 1,100 pounds of food! There is also food, activities for the kids, and a sale in our gift shop! 

LARS Holiday Bazaar: Date to Be Announced, 2024

An annual event organized by LARS that invites local artists and vendors to join in a winter holiday sale on UAF Troth Yeddah' Campus. Check out our social media for updates on this year's date, and mark it on your calendar.
