4-H shooting sports rifle instructor training set in Kodiak

Registered 4-H leaders who wish to become shooting sports instructors in Alaska have an opportunity to complete a two-part training course in January 2025.
The course is open to current 4-H leaders who are 21 or older. The first component is an online introduction to the National 4-H Shooting Sports rifle program. The cost is $20.
The second step is an in-person Level 1 rifle instructor training session in Kodiak, Alaska, on Saturday, Jan. 18, from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. with Velma Vining. She is based in Kodiak, is a member of the Alaska 4-H Shooting Sports Training Team and will lead the session. She is a 4-H volunteer who mentors youth in archery, pistol, rifle and shotgun shooting sports.
The cost is $60, which includes all materials but does not include travel or lodging. Sign up using the online form.
