The Alaska Native Language Center at UAF publishes manuscripts written in or about Alaska Native languages, such as these titles shown on the shelves in the center's bookstore.

The Alaska Native Language Center is accepting manuscript submissions for books in or about Alaska Native languages.

Authors who are passionate about preserving and promoting these vital languages can have their work published through the center, which is part of the University of Alaska Fairbanks.

If you have authored a book related to Alaska Native languages and are seeking a publisher, the center encourages you to review its submission guidelines and submit your prospectus to ANLC editor Lillian Maassen.

The center welcomes inquiries for manuscripts still in development. Authors who expect to have a manuscript ready within the next few years are invited to discuss their project.

For more information, please visit the center website or contact the ANLC at lmaassen@alaska.edu.

The Alaska Native Language Center was established by state legislation in 1972 as a center for research and documentation of the over 20 Native languages of Alaska. It is internationally known and recognized as the major center in the United States for the study of Interior and Northern Alaska Native languages.
