Alaska student selected for Sea Grant Knauss fellowship
Alaska Sea Grant is thrilled to announce that Connie Melovidov, a University of Alaska Fairbanks master’s student, will begin a prestigious Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship in Washington, D.C. next year. Connie brings a strong background in fisheries research and Indigenous perspectives from her upbringing on St. Paul Island, Alaska, and will focus on marine policy and conservation during her fellowship.
