Amy Bristor to lead Dual Enrollment

Amy Bristor has accepted the position of director of the Office of Dual Enrollment. She began her work with student services, including dual enrollment, in 2000 with Summer Sessions and continued that work at the Community and Technical College working with professional development, outreach, and the Tech Prep program.

Bristor has extensive experience in recruitment, having served as an admission counselor and the associate director of Admissions for eight years. Most recently, Bristor has been leading the efforts of the online dual enrollment program at UAF, Alaska Advantage, for the past three years.

In her new role, she will be leading, coordinating, and implementing UAF’s dual enrollment strategies to include the Alaska Advantage program, and the North Star College middle college program.

Bristor is well known for actively participating in committees across campus including Strategic Enrollment Planning and currently volunteers as a part of the Process Improvement Team. She also holds the postsecondary education seat on the executive board for the Alaska Postsecondary Access and Completion Network serving as secretary.
