UAF to host ANCSA symposium

Join the UAF Department of Alaska Native Studies and Rural Development (DANSRD) and Doyon, Ltd. for a symposium on the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) on April 12-13, 2022.

Attendees will participate in two days of programming featuring panels of experts, Q&A sessions, and discussion groups reflecting on the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA). Conversations will focus on land, policy, economic impacts, and looking forward to the next 50 years.

Space will be limited at the in-person event to ensure adherence to UAF COVID-19 mitigation guidelines. Masks are required in all university facilities. Once the event is full, unlimited virtual registration will remain available. Registration is now closed.
