Anthropology Colloquium with Christian Thomas

The UAF Department of Anthropology reopens its colloquium series this Friday, Jan. 28, at 3 p.m., with the lecture, “What is an Arrow? What are We Hunting?: Insights in Ancient Dene Hunting Technologies from the Yukon Ice Patch Project.

The lecture will be presented by Government of Yukon archeologist Christian Thomas. He will discuss insights gathered from discoveries of hunting weapons that were once lost in snow and are now melting free from ancient ice.
