TVC’s Faculty Development Conference

Tanana Valley Campus is conducting its second Faculty Development Conference for enhcncing teaching skills. The Conference will take place on Oct. 19, 2002, from 8:30 am. to 2 p.m at the UAF Downtown Center.

Walter Benesch, professor of philosophy and humanities, emeritus will give a keynote speech titled, "Why Teach?"

Other sessions will cover teaching, testing instructional and adaptive technologies and classroom preparation. Faculty will share expertise on Blackboard and multi-media, best practices and student learning strategies.

Breakfast and lunch are included.
