Lincoln Tritt will read from his work on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 4 p.m. in the Gathering Room in Brooks Building on the University of Alaska Fairbanks Campus.

Tritt has been published in a number of anthologies and periodicals including "Raven Tells Stories" and in Heartland of the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner. His childhood was spent moving back and forth yearly between Ft. Yukon and Arctic Village. Much of his writing explores Gwich’in values and traditions in a contemporary context. He has written "It is my opinion that if anybody wants a thorough education, they should learn more than one society."

The reading is sponsored by the Alaska Native Studies Department and the College of Rural Alaska.
