"Living in the Cold 2004" is an international gathering of scientists and students interested in communicating their research on themes including the biology of hibernation and torpor, thermoregulation and thermogenesis, cryobiology, biological rhythms, migration, polar biology, and animal adaptation to seasonality.

The conference will take place aboard a cruise ship through the Inside Passage July 25 -31, 2004

The conference will take place on a cruise ship leaving Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and traveling through the Inside Passagealong Southeast Alaska and Glacier Bay, and ending in Seward, Alaska.

Costs on board for this seven day cruise including room and meals begin at $769 (registration, taxes and transfers extra).
