Memorial Service for Dr. Keith Mather

A memorial program in honor of Dr. Keith B. Mather will take place Thursday, Jan. 30 at 5 p.m. in the Elvey Auditorium, located in room 214 of the Geophysical Institute.

Dr. Mather served as director of the Geophysical Institute from 1963 to 1976, and as vice chancellor for research at UAF from 1976 to 1985.

His colleagues and friends at UAF will take this opportunity to share their memories of him and recognize his contributions to the Geophysical Institute and UAF.

Dr. Mather died at his home in Eugene, Oregon on January 10, 2003.
