Travel Scholarships to Summer Conference Available

A limited amount of funding is still available for travel scholarships to a summer conference on science and Native (American Indian/ Alaska Native/ Native Canadian) communities. The conference will take place in Fairbanks, Alaska, July 13-15, 2003 and is primarily funded by the National Science Foundation. Travel scholarships are targeted toward students or Native community members.Students need not be Native, but should have some demonstrable commitment to understanding and serving Native communities.
