In a cultural slump? Join the Office of International Programs for International Education Week, Nov. 16-22. Come learn about other countries and cultures through music, national dress and artifacts! Most events are free and all are open to the public.

Sunday, Nov. 16
5-8 p.m. Loy Krathong Festival: Thai Culture on the Stage. Wood Center Carol Brown Ballroom. Ticket information at Thai House or 378-7829.

Monday, Nov. 17
11 a.m.-2 p.m. World Music in the Wood Center

Tuesday, Nov. 18
5 p.m. International Flag Dedication Ceremony. In the Wood Center multilevel lounge.

Wednesday, Nov. 19
11 a.m.-2 p.m. World Music in Wood Center

Thursday, Nov. 20
1 p.m. Live music from Red Hackle Pipe Band and UAF Professor Dennis Stephens. In Wood Center.

4-5:30 p.m. World Harvest Day Thanksgiving Celebration. Please bring a dish representative of your culture. RSVP to LaJuana Williams at 474-7300.

7 p.m. Foreign film (TBD). In Schaible Auditorium, Bunnell Bldg.

Friday, Nov. 21
2 p.m. International Cultural Extravaganza & Information Fair. In the Wood Center multilevel lounge. To participate, please call 474-6026 or 474-6131.

8:15 p.m. "The Possessed" by Dostoevsky, produced by Theatre UAF. In the Lee Salisbury Theatre. $12 general; $9 UAF staff and faculty, seniors and military; $6 students ($1 more at the door). Call 474-7551 for more information.

8-12 p.m. International Night at the Pub featuring beer and wine from around the globe. Must be 21 to enter.
