Rural energy conference planned

The Arctic Energy Technology Development Lab at UAF, the Alaska Energy Authority, and the U.S. Dept. of Energy will host the "2004 Alaska Rural Energy Conference," April 27-29, in Talkeetna, Alaska.

This conference, designed for rural energy providers, researchers, agencies, industry, and any other interested parties, presents the opportunity share experience and ideas about current and forward-looking technologies, as well as management tools and economic issues.

There will be plenary speakers, over 50 presentations, a trade show, a poster session, idea work sessions and time to network.
