Celebrating the Nanooks’ big weekend

The UAF Nanook’s hockey team retained the Governor’s Cup and hosts the first round of the CCHA playoffs in the Carlson Center this weekend. Meanwhile, the men’s basketball team finished the regular season with a 10-game winning streak and heads to the first round of the NCAA Division II Western Regional tournament in San Bernardino, Calif.

A send-off reception for the basketball team is set For Tuesday, March 9 in the Nanook Lounge in the Patty Center on the UAF campus. The festivities will take place from 4-5:30 p.m.
