The North Campus Area is an important UAF asset, providing valuable research opportunities for faculty and students, educational opportunities for UAF classes and off- campus school groups, and recreational opportunities for faculty, staff, students and the Fairbanks community. However, increasing demands placed on this finite resource require a corresponding management plan to protect its diverse values. The North Campus Subcommittee of the UAF Master Planning Committee was charged with developing a management plan for the North Campus Area. The resulting plan seeks to balance the needs to the various users of the north ampus area in order to preserve its function as a multiple use area. The North Campus subcommittee invites the UAF and Fairbanks community to attend one of the three meetings and provide input on the plan.
