The University of Alaska Fairbanks is completing nearly $90 million dollars in construction projects across the Fairbanks campus.
Watch for developments on Thompson Drive, which will include a new entrance to campus and the Interior’s first roundabout intersection. There may be intermittent, minor traffic delays and possible re-routing of traffic during construction.
Pedestrians and bicyclists are urged to use caution.
Thompson Drive is named in honor of the late Native leader Morris Thompson and his family. The Department of Transportation project is scheduled for completion in 2005.
