Former Interior Secretary Bruce Babbitt will be the 2004 Environmental and Subsurface Science Symposium keynote speaker in Spokane, Wash. Sept. 20-22, 2004.

The symposium is organized by the Inland Northwest Research Alliance (INRA) and the Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory(INEEL).

Abstracts may be submitted via e-mail to symposium@inra.org . The abstract deadline is Wednesday, June 30.
