The University of Alaska Museum of the North will offer two Junior Curators Camps for middle and high school students this summer.

The Art of Collage Monday, June 21 through Thursday, June 24 (9 a.m. 3 p.m. daily) Discover collage as an art form and learn how it can be a useful tool in an artist’s creative process. Then, work with collage artist Don Weir to create your own landscape and portrait collages. Cost is $200 per student and includes materials.Inspired by Nature: Making 3-D Collections Books Monday, July 19 through Friday, July 23 (9 a.m. 3 p.m. daily) Learn the secrets of making 3-dimensional books from artist Margo Klass. Then explore the UAF trail system for inspiration and create a variety of books incorporating sketches, writings and materials from your nature walks.
