International conference comes to UAF

The 33rd annual meeting of the International Society for the Comparative Study of Civilizations takes place June 10-12 at the Wood Center on the UAF campus from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. each day. The focus this year is "Civilizations, Bridges and Barriers." The conference brings together scholars from many disciplines, including philosophy, psychology, economics and linguistics.

The ISCSC was formally established in 1961 and is committed to the notion that complex problems facing civilizations need diverse, multidisciplinary analysis. For more information visit www.iscsc.net/.
