Reading & book signing with UAF authors

Authors and University of Alaska Fairbanks faculty and staff members Renee Manfredi and Doreen Fitzgerald will be reading from their new books from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, at Gulliver’s bookstore on College Road.

Manfredi, faculty member in the UAF English department creative writing program, will be reading from her novel, Above the Thunder. Fitzgerald’s poems "Dog Days" and "Sisters" from Cake: Selected Poems were featured recently on Minnesota Public Radio’s The Writer’s Almanac with Garrison Keillor. Fitzgerald is publications assistant in the School of Natural Resources and Agricultural Sciences.
