KUAC seeks volunteers for fall membership drive

KUAC’s Fall FM Membership Drive will take place Saturday, Oct. 16 through Sunday, Oct. 24. The 2004 Fall Membership Drive goal is $154,886 for KUAC FM 89.9.

"Funds raised during this membership drive go to providing the programming and infrastructure to fulfill the station’s public broadcasting mission in Alaska.

KUAC would like to invite you, your employees, department or organization to join the staff during this year’s FM Membership Drive.

"We need your help answering phones, taking pledges and representing KUAC as we receive calls from listeners all over Alaska’s Interior. Our partnership with volunteers is vital to the success of our membership drive," said Petrowich.

Weekday shifts run from 6:30 a.m.-10am, 10 a..m-1 p.m., 1 p.m.-4 p.m., and 4 p.m.-7 p.m. Weeknight shifts run from 9 p.m. until midnight. On the weekends, the schedule begins at 7 a.m. and continues through midnight.
