Northern Lights Choral Festival at UAF

Northland Children’s Choir and Student Activities are working together to bring the Northern Lights Choral Festival to the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus on Thursday, July 7, from noon to 2 p.m.

The following choirs (approximately 150 singers) will be performing during the the weekly "Out To Lunch" concert and ice cream social outside of Wood Center: Kantorei Choir from Indianapolis, Indiana (Ruth Dwyer, Festival Artistic Director) Northland Children’s Choir from Fairbanks (Host Choir, Melissa Downes, Director) Knabenchor Cappella Vocalis from Reutlinger, Germany (Director Eckhard Weyand), and Anchorge Alaska Children’s Choir (Janet Stotts, Director)

The four choirs will sing individually and together for this performance.

We hope to give them a very warm welcome to our campus! Please plan to spend your lunchtime with us and enjoy some world class children’s choirs on Thursday, July 7. More information about this special event will be presented in the near future.
