Chilled water system shut-down for the season

The chilled water system will be shut down for the season on Sept. 6. This shut down which normally takes mid September needs to be done now to keep the chiller project on schedule. New piping must be installed before the temperatures drop below freezing.

The chilled water system provides cooling to the following buildings: Brooks, Bunnell, Duckering, Fine Arts, Gruening, Signersäó», Whitaker-Health and Safety and Wood Center.

There is a possibility of some discomfort to building occupants if the forecasted temperatures increase.
