Borough commission on public transport to meet on campus

A special meeting of the Fairbanks North Star Borough Public Transportation Advisory Commission regarding bus route changes on the UAF campus will take place Thursday, Oct. 6, 2005 at 6 p.m. in the Wood Center Carol Brown Ballroom.

Due to recent changes in service routes, the Metropolitan Area Commuter System (MACS) transit bus system now stops on campus in the Nenana parking lot rather than the Wood Center. Concerns about effects of this change raised by students, faculty and staff have led to the commission scheduling a meeting on campus. All interested persons are invited to attend.
