Each year, the Alaska One Public Televison Network calls for art for the annual poster design.

The 2005 poster artist was Linda Beach, a quilt artist from Chugiak. Linda’s "Postcard from Ketchikan" was selected as KUAC Alaska One’s 22nd annual poster art.

The statewide competition to determine a winning design includes the following eligibility requirements:

1. Entrants reside in Alaska
2. Each artist may submit up to 3 slides or art on a CD (highest resolution possible, jpg or pdf file)
3. Entries must be personally submitted by the creative artist
4. Work which has been previously shown is acceptable
5. All artwork must have been completed in the last 5 years.

The entries will be judged by a selection committee. The chosen work will be professionally photographed and posters will be printed to publicize the artist’s work. The poster will be introduced in the statewide spring 2006 Public Broadcasting campaign on Alaska One Television. Further promotion includes airing the artist’s bio on Alaska One Public Television and inviting the artist to participate in a public poster signing event. To have entries returned, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope.

Please submit entries, art title, dimensions, contact information, and a written description (up to 200 words) about what inspires you to create art to:
