CIRI president featured as guest lecturer

Margie Brown, president and CEO of Cook Inlet Region Inc., will speak on Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2005, as part of the University of Alaska Fairbanks School of Management’s Professor for a Day guest lecture series. The lecture will take place in the Brooks Building Gathering Room on the UAF campus from 1 - 2 p.m. and is open to the public.

Brown took over as head of the Southcentral Alaska Native corporation at the beginning of the year. She started working at the corporation in 1976 and rose through the ranks to her current position. She served six years on the CIRI board of directors. She is also a founding board member of the CIRI Foundation and currently chairs that board.
