Interior-Aleutians Campus hosting science fair

The University of Alaska Fairbanks Interior-Aleutians Campus will host its annual American Indian science and engineering fair Dec. 8-9 at the Harper Building in Fairbanks. The event draws dozens of fifth- through 12th-graders from throughout the Interior. Their projects are judged by elders, teachers and scientists. Three grand prize winners will receive $300 toward travel to the state Native science fair in Anchorage.

Public viewing is 9 a.m. to noon on Dec. 9.
