One day remains for University Chorus raffle ticket sale

The University Chorus is selling raffle tickets to support its trip to New York in April to sing at Carnegie Hall. The top prize is two tickets on Alaska Airlines. Tickets will be available for purchase from 11:15 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Wood Center multilevel lounge on Thursday. Tickets are $5 each or $20 for five. Only 500 tickets will be sold.

Other prizes include a Pikes Landing brunch for four and a DVD player. The drawing will be held Dec 18 at Davis Concert Hall during intermission of the Northland Children’s Choir. You need not be present to win.

The University Chorus has been invited to sing in New York City at Carnegie Concert Hall on April 22, 2006. The chorus is also accepting donations to help pay for the trip. For more information or to donate, contact the music department at 474-7555 or fymusic@uaf.edu.
