Staff to be recognized for years of service

The annual Staff Longevity Recognition ceremony and reception take place Friday, March 30, 2007, in the Wood Center Ballroom from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Chancellor Steve Jones will be at the event to recognize the years of service and thank them for their years of service to the university.

More than 200 staff members who are eligible for recognition this year, from 5 to 40 years of service. Visit www.uaf.edu/uafhr/Longevity/longevity_awards_list.htm for a complete list.

Department managers are encouraged to recognize employees at the departmental level, in addition to the recognition they will receive at the ceremony. Although this event recognizes only staff employees, a list of all names (staff & faculty) will be published in the Cornerstone newsletter.
