Facilities Services will host a Biosciences Facility Q&A Open House in the IARC Lobby on Wednesday, May 2 from 3-5 p.m. Visit www.uaf.edu/bios/ for more information about BIOS.

BIOS FACTS:

-110,000 gsf science (lab) intensive facility on the West Ridge between Irving I and the new BiRD facility.

-Four floors of labs, offices, classrooms, and mechanical/electrical support space.

-The total capital request is $105 million. This includes $94 million for the facility and $11 million for the required utilities (heat) expansion.
