Input Wanted on North Campus

The University of Alaska Fairbanks North Campus subcommittee would like input from faculty, staff, students and community users of the woodland area to the north of campus. It includes Ballaine and Smith lakes, and recreational access trails.

Feedback will be used to develop a plan that accommodates research, educational and recreational uses of the land, while preserving the area’s natural integrity.

Public meetings are scheduled, April 1, 2003 at the UAF Wood Center from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., April 2 at the Noel Wien Library auditorium from 4 - 7:30 p.m. and April 3 at the Geophysical Institute Globe Room from 3:30 - 6 p.m.
