Wilson Selected as UAF Sports Information Director

University of Alaska Fairbanks Director of Athletics Dr. Cory M. Schwartz announced today that Scott Wilson has been hired as the new sports information director at UAF.

Wilson is currently the assistant sports information director at Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville, Tenn. He has previously served as the sports information director at Taylor University in Upland, Ind. and Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Ky.

Wilson earned his bachelor’s degree in journalism and master’s degrees in sports administration and physical education from Eastern Kentucky University.

"We are very excited to have someone with Scott’s background and qualifications to fill this position," Schwartz said.

Wilson is expected to start his new position in July.
