As part of UAA’s 50th Anniversary celebration, there will be a public celebration featuring Frank McCourt, author of "Angela’s Ashes" and noted lecturer. As he is a very popular author, and will only be speaking in Anchorage, the lecture will be webcast in Juneau and Fairbanks.
