The University of Alaska Fairbanks Police Department has issued an update on the attempted kidnapping which occurred on the UAF campus Feb. 16, 2004. Police have made contact with a 17-year-old UAF male student. Juvenile authorities have released the suspect into the custody of his father and he has been trespassed from the Fairbanks campus while the case is under investigation.
