"We wanted to emphasize execution today, and I think we did a better job of executing our plays today,"? said UAF Head Coach Lynne Andrew. "We didn’t have a lot of subs, so we also got to work on our conditioning. We also got a chance to get a feel for game situations, to see what it was like to get behind and try to catch up in the end, and everyone got a chance to get out and compete."?
The Nanooks, who won their opener Friday night, will carry a 1-0 record into their next action. UAF will visit Cal State Stanislaus for the CSUS Classic next weekend. The Nanooks will play the host Warriors Friday night, and will meet Cal State Bakersfield Saturday.
