Preparing for a dark age: Developing strategic peace work in the hard times ahead is the title of a public lecture and discussion to be led by noted peace activist Chuck Fager at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 29 in Schaible Auditorium on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus.

Chuck Fager is a well-known Quaker leader and author who has long been involved with peace and civil rights activism. He is currently director of the Quaker House in Fayetteville, NC, which has been a front line Quaker peace witness project since 1969. Fager was formerly on the staff of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference under the leadership of D. Martin Luther King, Jr. More information is available at www.quakerhouse.org.
