Fireworks fly from UAF’s West Ridge on New Year’s Eve, 2003.

Join the University of Alaska Museum of the North for hot cocoa and cookies before and after the Sparktacular fireworks. Come up early to get a good parking space and spend some time exploring the galleries before the fireworks start at 8 p.m. (weather permitting). The event is free and open to the public.

Portions of Tanana Loop and Yukon Drive will be blocked off at 6:30 p.m.

The UAF Fire and Police Deparmtment provides some logistical support for the Spartacular, however, the event is sponsored by the following community groups and businesses:
