More than $500,000 in privately funded scholarships and awards are given to University of Alaska Fairbanks students each year. The funding is made possible by the generosity of donors to the university, many of whom are UAF alumni or local businesses.

For more information about these and other UAF scholarships contact the Scholarship Coordinator in the Financial Aid Office at 474-5372 or via e-mail scholarships@uaf.edu or visit www.uaf.edu/giving/scholarships . Students can also apply for most scholarships online at this URL. The deadline for 2005-2006 scholarship applications is Feb. 15, 2005.
