Eduardo Wilner of the UAF departments of philosophy and of biology and wildlife will give a public lecture 7 p.m. Schaible Auditorium, Monday, Oct. 17 with the purpose of explaining creationism’s logical flaws and explaining the philosophical basis for the theory of evolution. He will show how creationist theory is indeed flawed, that it does not and cannot explain evolution and that it does not in any way compete with evolutionary theory as an explanation for the diversity of life.
