Museum to host military appreciation day

The University of Alaska Museum of the North will be hosting a military appreciation day on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2005 from noon - 5 p.m. Admission is free and includes entertainment by Suzuki strings and activities for children. In lieu of campus activities this year, the university would like to give students, staff and faculty the opportunity to attend the Downtown Association’s celebration of Veterans Day held on Nov. 11, 2005 at 11 a.m. at the Alaska Centennial Center for the Arts at Pioneer Park.
