Privately funded scholarship recipients for the 2005-2006 academic year at the University of Alaska Fairbanks have been announced. More than $600,000 in privately funded scholarships is awarded to UAF students each year. The awards are made possible by the generosity of donors to the university, many of whom are UAF alumni or local businesses.

For application information contact the UAF Scholarship Coordinator at 474-5372 or via e-mail at scholarships@uaf.edu . Students can apply for most scholarships online at http://uaonline.alaska.edu . The deadline for the 2006-2007 scholarship application is February 15, 2006.
