UAF to host screening of award-winning film

The University of Alaska Fairbanks will host a screening of journalism professor Robert Prince’s award-winning documentary film, "Making Choices: The Dutch Resistance during World War II," Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. in Schaible Auditorium.

The film, which was Prince’s master’s thesis when he was a student at Michigan State University, explores the wartime lives of four participants in the Dutch resistance during World War II. The film first aired on West Michigan Public Broadcasting in May and won the Audience Award at the Northern Lights Documentary Film Festival, held in Newburyport, Mass. Sept. 30-Oct. 2.

The screening is free and open to the public.
