Whad’ Ya Know show coming to Fairbanks

Tickets for the live broadcast of the Whad’Ya Know show are no longer available for sale, but fans of Wisconsin Public Radio’s hit have another opportunity to be entertained by Michael Feldman and the Whad’ Ya Know trio Saturday, July 8 aboard the riverboat Discovery II.

Passengers will be treated to the narrated tour downstream with Captain Ryan Binkley and on the return upstream, Michael and the trio will entertain with commentary and live music. Tickets are $50 and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Summer Sessions scholarship fund.ξ

The radio show, a favorite of the Saturday morning lineup on KUAC, will be broadcast live from the Charles W. Davis Concert Hall on the UAF campus Friday, July 7 at 7 p.m. in several communities across the state and rebroadcast across the nation Saturday at its regular time. Public radio listeners across Alaska will have an opportunity to participate in the live call-in portion of Friday’s broadcast by dialing 1-800-474-5822.
