Yukon Drive road closure

A portion of Yukon Drive on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus will be closed to through traffic east of Sheenjek intersection on Saturday, July 22 from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. for installation of new storm drain piping. The parking lot on the west side at Arctic Health Research Building will also be closed for a short time. Closure times will be posted.

To access Koyukuk Drive and buildings off Sheenjek Drive detour north along Tanana Loop onto Koyukuk to Sheenjek or come up Yukon Drive by the Natural Science Facility. A right turn onto Sheenjek from Yukon Drive will be permitted.

The road will reopen to traffic on Sunday.
