University of Alaska Fairbanks Chancellor Steve Jones will address staff, faculty and students Tuesday, Sept. 26, at fall convocation. The presentation, "Above and Beyond"? will take place at 1 p.m. in Schaible Auditorium on the UAF campus.

Jones is expected to speak on his vision for the coming year and highlight some of UAF’s top funding priorities.

The convocation is open to students, staff, faculty, alumni and the public. Rural sites can participate via audio conference. Call-in numbers will be posted to the chancellor’s Web site at www.uaf.edu/chancellor. The event will also be available via webcast at www.uaf.edu/news/webcasts. UAF Auxiliary and Business Services will host an ice cream social immediately following the event.
